During my recent stay at Old Mill Holiday Hostel, I was impressed by the fantastic location in the heart of town. It was so convenient to be within walking distance of Westport House and the beautiful Westport Harbour. The walk to these attractions was absolutely stunning.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, right in the center of town. The rooms and bathroom were clean and well-maintained.

I felt really welcome and had no complaints at all.

We had a great stay at Old Mill Holiday. The hostel is centrally located near restaurants and pubs, making it incredibly convenient. We found a fantastic pizza place just down the street for dinner, as well as a late-night shop for snacks. The hostel itself had a basic dormitory sleeping facility and bathrooms, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and the rooms were spotless. The old stone building had a lot of character and the setting was perfect. it was a pleasant and affordable place to stay.

During my stay at Old Mill Holiday, I had a great experience overall. The hostel was clean and well-maintained, with a big dining area and separate bathrooms. I particularly liked the mirror in the bedroom and the ample counter space next to the sinks in the bathrooms. The location of the hostel was also convenient, with the train station nearby and the city center within walking distance. There were plenty of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment in the surrounding area, including a shopping center, cafes. Additionally, the staff was kind and accommodating, allowing me to use a downstairs shower when there was an issue with the hot water in the morning. The fact that the hostel had a car park with free parking in the evening until the morning was also a bonus. I would definitely recommend Old Mill Holiday for a pleasant and convenient stay.

Great central location and easy access to the town. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel had good security measures with codes on the main door and bedroom doors. The showers and toilets were clean. The hostel provided basic breakfast options and had good cooking facilities. I appreciated being able to store my bags after check-out.

There were some noise issues during the night due to other guests. The shower cubicles did not have anywhere to hang clothes and the water was too hot.

The rooms were quite small, with limited space to move around. The beds were not very comfortable, and the walls were thin, allowing noise to easily travel between rooms.

Had a great stay at Old Mill Holiday in a perfect location near the central shopping district. The friendly staff was a plus, and the electronic code lock added a level of security. Clean rooms with a mirror, separate bathrooms, and plenty of counter space. Also, the free evening parking and light breakfast were greatly appreciated. Good value for money!

I recently stayed at a charming hostel in a historic building that truly captured the essence of backpacking. The rooms were recently updated and absolutely fabulous! The staff, who were all locals, were incredibly friendly and provided excellent tips on exploring the area. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town yet nestled in a quiet courtyard. Plus, the homemade brown bread in the morning was a delightful treat. All of this made for a reasonable price and a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
